Everything you need to know about renting, returning and partnering with K5 Power Network.
Scan the QR code on any K5 station with your phone, pay securely, and a power bank is released instantly. Use it to charge on the go, then return it to any K5 station in the network — not necessarily the one you rented from.
No. K5 is a connected network, so you can rent from one station and return your power bank to any other K5 station in Malaysia.
K5 stations accept Touch 'n Go eWallet, Visa, Mastercard, WeChat Pay, Alipay and PayNow, so you can pay however you prefer.
Yes. A RM68 deposit is charged when you rent a K5 power bank. Once the power bank is successfully returned, the RM68 deposit will be refunded to your payment method.
The rental rate is RM3 per hour.
The rental fee is capped at RM38 per 24 hours, so the maximum daily charge is RM38.
If the power bank is not returned, you will be charged a flat fee of RM68 through your payment provider.
Every K5 power bank includes built-in connectors for USB Type-C, Lightning and Micro-USB, so it works with almost any phone.
Hosting a K5 station is completely free for merchants — zero setup cost, no rental fee and no deposit. K5 handles delivery, installation, restocking and maintenance.
K5 stations work well in shopping malls, retail stores, restaurants, cafés, hospitals, offices, libraries, hotels, airports and events — anywhere people need power on the go.
It's simple: you need a standard power outlet for the K5 station and a suitable location where people are likely to need a power bank, especially somewhere with good foot traffic or where customers spend time. There is zero investment — no equipment investment, rental or deposit.
Don't worry — the K5 Power Location is not responsible for the loss. If a power bank is not returned, a flat fee of RM68 will be charged to the user through their payment provider. There is no liability to the location partner.
Fill out the form on our Become a Partner page with your business details, and our team will reach out to confirm the right station type and installation timeline for your location.
